What is the difference between the free and commercial plans?

What do I get for free?

You will get 50 MB free web space, 1 GB Bandwidth monthly transfer, Apache + mySQL + PHP 4 + ASP, cgi/perl scripting, subdomain yourwebsitename.glwb.info, One POP mail account and much more.

What is required to be eligable to get a free web hosting package?

A working email address.

What is the exact process for registration?

After you register for an account here, you will receive your login details shortly. You have to login to members section to find your FTP address, POP address , etc..
Feel free to check our forums or the archive if you faced difficulties.

Where can I upload my files?

Use your favourite FTP client to upload to the www directory in your home directory.

How can I adminster my free database?

In your members section, you will find the address to phpmyadmin, a very professional web interface to adminster your mySQL database.

How can I change my username or password?

You cannot change your username and password once you have activated your membership.

What is my SMTP email server address?

Your free hosting account comes with one POP email account only, you should use your own ISP SMTP server in order to send emails, or you can consider one of our commercial packages.

What is the path to perl?

You should use /usr/bin/perl in your perl scripts.

Why my php website does not work?

We have disabled certain functions such as email, system and ob_gzhandler that may prevents your php website of working correctly. This is applied to free hosting accounts only in order to prevent abusing our service. All commercial packages comes with these functions enabled by default.

My website got deleted, HELP!

There are some actions that might have led to suspending your account including violation of Terms of Service and Acceptable User Policy, having no activity for your website for at least a month.

Will you put any banners/popup ads on my website?

We do not put any popup ads on our members website, however free accounts are supported via banner ads and popunder ads. In order to have an AD free service, %99.9 uptime guranatee, consider upgrading to one of our commercial plans.
